VERN BELOS, SR. CONSULTANT
Vern leads our human resources and risk management solutions practice including health and safety. His primary focus is building and enhancing leadership capabilities and confidence in implementing sound human resource practices that promote engagement, well-being and more effective organizations. Trained in the behavioural sciences, he has a doctorate in organizational development, as well as a master’s degree in human resources and a masters of law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He received his executive coaching training from Royal Roads University. Vern is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and is both a Certified Human Resources Leader and Certified Health and Safety Consultant.
Vern often serves a third-party neutral mediator or investigator in workplace disputes involving inappropriate behaviour like harassment and sexual harassment, as well as alleged human rights violations.
COLLEEN CARRUTHERS, SR. CONSULTANT
Colleen leads our workplace learning and coaching practice. She is a professional certified coach accredited through the International Coach Federation, in addition to holding a degree in adult education from Brock University.
Colleen facilitates leadership development programs for supervisors, managers and senior executives. She conducts Action Learning programs, facilitates groups processes and strategic planning. She specializes in communication and relationship dynamics in holding difficult conversations and a coach approach to conflict resolution. Colleen adopts the principles of positive psychology in her practice.
Additionally, Colleen provides employee counselling and psychotherapy and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
TONY PILON, HR CONSULTANT AND LEARNING FACILITATOR
Tony leads our compliance, policy and safe workplace practice area. Tony holds a business administration diploma with a specialty in human resources and adult education credentials from Brock University. Tony facilitates action learning and routinely conducts seminars and training workshops with supervisors and managers on compliance and legislative training including occupational health and safety. He is a certified human resource professional.
Additionally, Tony conducts workplace investigations and workplace compliance auditing.
LORI MCKEE, FACILITATOR AND LEARNING COACH
Lori works a learning facilitator and coach who helps employees polish their interpersonal skills.
Lori has designed and delivered workshops that help people grow and build confidence with interpersonal communication and relationship issues. She holds credentials in adult education and training plus a background in developmentally challenged individuals.
BILL TEMPLEMAN, FACILITATOR AND INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER
Bill holds a master’s degree and has broad experience in helping organizations in corporate workplace learning and performance. He has won co-authoring awards from the American Society for Training & Development for instructional design. In addition to instructional design, he facilitates team building sessions and leadership development. He routinely assists employees with outplacement coaching.
RHONDA SMITH, HR SPECIALIST AND MEDIATOR
Rhonda Smith brings her legal background to all of her endeavours and is known for her ability to make human resources management and workplace conflict resolution “make sense”.
Rhonda has both business and law degrees, and holds a Master of Laws in Alternate Dispute Resolution. She spent a number of years representing management in labor and employment disputes.
